On March 28, 2024, the Coordinator of the Doctoral Science Education Study Program, Prof. Dr. Insih Wilujeng, was the resource person for the online workshop, which focused on reviewing the curriculum of the Science Education Study Program at Lamongan Islamic University (UNISLA). All UNISLA Science Education lecturers attended this event, and it was opened by the Dean of the UNISLA Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). Dr. Muhammad Nurman guided the workshop. This workshop aims to evaluate and improve various aspects of the science education curriculum to align with the needs and developments in science and the demands of the world of work. Some of the main topics that are the focus of the review include Curriculum Book Format, CPL suitability, Scientific Vision, MK Structure, Descriptions, RPS, the Lecture Process, and Assessment System.

This online workshop gathered valuable input from all UNISLA Science Education lecturers. This activity is also the first step for the UNY Education Department to collaborate with the Lamongan Islamic University. Prof. Dr. Insih Wilujeng thanked all lecturers who were actively involved in this workshop. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and joint commitment to continue innovating in the education field. He hopes that the results of this review will become the basis for developing a better curriculum.
