FIELD ASSESSMENT OF THE SCIENCE EDUCATION DOCTORAL PROGRAM

Monday-Tuesday, 26-27 February 2024, two assessors from the Independent Education Accreditation Institute (Lamdik) visited the Science Education Doctoral Program. Previously, Three study programs had field assessments, namely the Undergraduate Physics study program, the Master's study program in Biology Education, the Doctoral study program in Mathematics Education, and this time it was the Doctoral study program in Science Education. The AL was held for two days in the faculty hall. The Assessor who had the opportunity to visit FMIPA UNY to carry out the Field Assessment were Prof. Dr. Ida Kaniawati, M.Sc., from UPI Bandung, and Prof. Dr. Woro Sumarni, M.Si., from UNNES Semarang.

AL activities were welcomed directly by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dr. Dadan Rosana, M.Sc. He said in his Int the asses, he said that the process is part of an effort to evaluate ourselves because difficult to photograph ourselves. Hence, we need other people to photograph us so we can photograph ourselves completely.

"The arrival of the assessors encouraged us to make our study program as a whole; we. We got input. Put it as a useful medicine for us. What disease we have, the doctor knows. "With assessors, of course, we will know; we can diagnose where our weaknesses are, and we will ask for a prescription," continued the Dean.

After the Dean's speech, and continued briefing from the Assessor, Prof. Ida, as assessor 1, said that every university has its advantages, as does the Doctoral Science Education study program. Today, we are more into the confirmation process of the LEDs that have been uploaded. We will dig deeper to determine the points that need to be checked again so that we can objectively provide notes or verification. We will explore the quality assurance process, academics, and courses in more depth.
